Code of Practice for Sustainable Use of Mangrove Ecosystems for Aquaculture in Southeast Asia The 47-page book contains desiderata and guidelines articulated by Country Representatives and other mangrove stakeholders during the Regional Technical Consultation among the Southeast Asian countries held in August 2004.
Seaweeds of Panay (2nd Edition) The 50-page book lists 112 species of seaweeds found in Panay island in west central Philippines, 27 of which are new records to the area. Each color photograph is accompanied by a physical description. Common names, seaweed habitat, economic importance, and collection site are also noted.

Responsible Fisheries

Over the past four decades, SEAFDEC has been assisting Member Countries in developing their fisheries potentials towards sustainable directions, taking into consideration relevant global concerns and initiatives.

With the adoption on the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries by the FAO members in 1995, responsible approach has been immensely taken up by SEAFDEC, with the essence of the CCRF being embedded in planning and implementation of activities.
